Where do I go if I want to know if something already exists before I post it? Such as BT downloads.

Use the search function but unfortunately not for your current level.Level up yrself so that can use it.

you can try to google with keyword and "site: website.domain" and usually it will work

Have you already get the level 3? If you have not , then you can't use the "search" service,
definitly, you can buy a VIP , I think it is not so expensive

The reason why I'm asking was because when I try to contribute to the site, I don't know if it exists already on this site and I might get a warning or something.

Ya, so do I, but like if I contribute something that already exists in say BT section, =/ might get warned and decrease your credit for the site.

I don't yhink it is a problem though I am level 1,too.
First you should accumulate yr credit, Then you will have lot of changce to contribute.
