English replies are permissible, but only if it's actually English. Don't think you can pass off machine-translated Chinglish, Singlish, or Malaysian-English that doesn't make any sense or attempt to sneak by some spam, one-size fit all responses just because it's English - still won't fly. In other words, yes you can reply in English, but you still need to abide by the rules.
